Mont Blanc 15
This is an Kodak Ektachrome E100VS 6×6 slide taken with my Hasselblad 500C and 80mm. I carried it with me almost to the top, where I unfortunately had to stop because of my bad acclimatization.
The picture is taken in the small valley below Aiguille du Midi, where usually a crowd of climbers are taking a small rest in their tents before they set out for the summit in the very early morning. As did we.
As far as I remember, the picture is taken after our summit day — the guys in the photo did make it to the top. I waited for them around 300 metres below the top in my sleeping bag, enjoying the view and the sunset from there.
This picture is from 2005.
